Value: $1.2 million

The client commissioned TRCB to design a medium-density residential development in the coastal suburb of Cottesloe.
The 200m² dwellings on 230m² lots feature north-facing courtyards with integrated ground-floor living and east-facing bedrooms. Designed to suit both young families and empty-nesters, the dwellings comprise ground-floor bedroom and living spaces in a single-level living arrangement, with upper-floor living spaces on the second floor.
User comfort and amenity are supported with low-maintenance materials and finishes. Offering proximity to rail and bus, the development is designed to integrate in its surrounds. A spectacular street-facing bougainvillea was retained.
Wentworth Street Housing is a model for medium-density residential development within an established neighbourhood.
