Fred Chaney is a Director at TRCB, bringing extensive experience across a wide range of scales and typologies. His project experience ranges from masterplanning and the public realm, to tertiary education, transport and multi-residential development. Notable projects include The Perth Cultural Centre Masterplan, Queen Street, Scarborough Foreshore Promenade Arbours, the Fremantle Campus Masterplan for the University of Notre Dame, and the State Library of Western Australia Strategic Development Plan.

Fred is an advocate for informed and integrated approaches to environmentally sustainable design. He was the first WA-based director appointed to the board of the Green Building Council of Australia and was Project Director for WA’s first 6 Star Greenstar As-Built project.

Across all projects, Fred is committed to an effective, collaborative design process for the client and the project team, and the translation of this process into thoughtfully conceived and robust architectural solutions.
