Fred Chaney


Fred is a Director of Taylor Robinson Chaney Broderick. He has extensive experience in public architecture, masterplanning and the commercial sector and has undertaken work in south-east Asia, the Middle East and on the east coast of Australia, including ten years of architectural practice in Melbourne, Victoria.

Fred leads the firm’s residential and civic project work and is active in the educational and commercial work of the practice. He has had a career-long passion for achieving high quality community and environmental outcomes as well as delivering excellent building and planning projects for his clients. Fred was Project Director for Western Australia’s first certified 6 Star Green Star As-Built building, and the first Western Australian-based Director appointed to the board of the Green Building Council of Australia.

Recent projects include the Scarborough Waterfront Redevelopment, Canning City Centre Masterplan, Strategic Development Plans for the State Library of Western Australia and Art Gallery of Western Australia and the Rowethorpe Village Masterplan.
