111 St Georges Terrace

Date: 2011

ONE ELEVEN has emerged from a 1970s office tower which has been given a long overdue aesthetic and functional upgrade, with little being done to the building since its last major refurbishment in the late 1980s. The iconic corner location sees a major upgrade and rearrangement of the lobby and external plaza with the addition of retail and food and beverage tenancies, including a high profile bar and restaurant to the eastern plaza. The refurbishment responds to the renewal of the precinct, seeing it become better engaged and activated at street level and linking it to adjacent developments and beyond such as the BHP Tower and the City Square development, the new train stations at The Esplanade and at the Murray Street Mall.
