Wesley College Ward & Kefford Buildings
Date: 2013
The refurbishment of the Ward and Kefford buildings at Wesley College provides Senior School students with first class learning facilities, accommodating new teaching, learning and administration spaces, with significant emphasis on sustainability and respect to the heritage nature of the existing buildings.
The master planning and repositioning of administrative functions sought to strengthen the central spine through the campus, aligning with the overall Master plan initiative at Wesley College. The bold exterior shading attachments reinforce the prominence of the heritage buildings, whilst the flexible teaching spaces, breakout areas and collaborative learning zones provide a lively educational environment for students.
In 2015, the project received a Commendation in Heritage by the WA Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects.
